Magical Creatures

If you wish to be a magical creature, this is the place to claim them. Remember, it's first come, first serve.

Vampire (4): A vampire is a magical hominid, that is known for biting people on the neck and sucking their blood. They are usually pale and gaunt, with sharp teeth for puncturing the neck. They have an aversion to garlic and can be kept at bay by its presence. Little is known about them, however they have been widely integrated into Muggle fiction.

Werewolf (2): A werewolf is a human being who, upon the complete rising of the full moon, turns into a fearsome and deadly near-wolf. Werewolves can be easily distinguished from regular wolves by several small distinguishing characteristics, such as the pupils of the eyes, the snout shape, and the tufted tail. At all other times, they appear as normal humans, though will often seem to be ill as the full moon approaches. This condition is caused by infection with lycanthropy, usually occurring when a human is bitten by a transformed werewolf.

Hag (1): Hags, also called crones, are savage, hominid creatures that look like ugly, old witches. They employ archaic earth magic and are easily recognised by Muggles. Hags are what Muggles think are "fairy tale witches," otherwise, little is known about these creatures.

Veela (1) and Half Veela (4): Veela are a race of semi-human, semi-magical hominids reminiscent of the Sirens of Greek mythology. Little is known about their biology; they appear to be young, beautiful human female caucasians. Their appearance and especially their dance are magically seductive to almost all male beings, which causes them to perform strange actions in order to get nearer to them. Hearing a Veela's voice can also cause one to incessantly brag in order to impress them, such as claiming they have invented a broom that can reach Jupiter. Veela are thought to have their own type of magic which does not require a wand. When Veela are angry, however, they transform into something more like Harpies — their faces turn into cruel-beaked bird heads and long scaly wings burst from their shoulders, and they can launch balls of fire from their hands.

Merpeople (2): Merpeople are sentient beings (or beasts, as they want nothing to do with the likes of vampires and hags) that live underwater, and are found all over the world. Their customs and habits are mysterious, and, like the Centaurs, they refused Being status in favour of Beast. Merpeople can breathe above the waves for a time, but it is unclear if they can ever truly leave their habitat.

Centaur (2): A centaur is a magical creature whose head, torso and arms appear to be human joined to a horse's body. However, they are their own species, and are not any kind of half-breed.

Metamorphmagus: A Metamorphmagus (pl. Metamorphmagi) is a witch or wizard with the ability to change his or her physical appearance at will, rather than requiring Polyjuice Potion or a spell like the rest of the wizarding population. They are extremely rare.

Ghost (4): A ghost is the disembodied spirit of a once-living wizard or witch. Only magical beings can become ghosts. Many ghosts take up residence within Hogwarts Castle. These fleshless spirits were either afraid of death or have some extraordinarily strong connection to the locations they haunt.

Seer: A Seer is a gifted wizard or witch who has the ability to see into the future with their Inner Eye. Seers predict prophecies, which are then recorded and stored in the Hall of Prophecy in the Ministry of Magic's Department of Mysteries. According to Minerva McGonagall, true Seers are extremely rare.

How you got this gift: Xylon was born in a pureblood family, naturally of course, his family knew all about magic. So he grew up in a mansion, as his powers were developing he figured out that he could shift into different appearances, when he wanted to. He was one of the rare people in the wizarding world who could be able to do it at will. His powers could be used for good or evil, decided to choose evil mostly because his parents came hard on him about that, so he could spy on other people for his parents without other people even knowing it was him.

How you got this gift: Ammaleighs family tree had been full of Seers, only on her mothers side. Her grandmother had been a seer, and as her mother wasnt, it dawned on the family that Ammaleigh was the true seer. It was a skill passed down skipping every other generation. As a small child, Ammaleigh was able to see things that wouldnt happen for a while. Thinking they were dreams, she played it off. Then she did more research and finally told her parents what she was.
